PREP TRACK: Forks boys, PA girls win at Forks Lions Club Invite

FORKS — Dominating the field events and getting three first-place finishes from Cole Baysinger, the Forks boys won the Forks Lions Club Invitational meet, edging out Port Angeles 122-109.

Forks’ Skyler Steffan completed the field events sweep by winning the javelin with a throw of 122-8.

Meanwhile, the Port Angeles girls cruised, easily outdistancing the rest of the field with 158 points thanks to the Long sisters (Gracie and Millie), Lainnie Lyamba and the Roughriders’ distance runners. There was a good scrap for second as Forks just edged out Clallam Bay 80-74.
