Workshop set for auditioning skills

SEQUIM — Ron Graham and Marissa Meek will present a workshop on auditioning skills from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 28.

The free workshop will be at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim.

Graham and Meek also will present a five-week course on auditioning skills from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays from June 4 through July 2.

The course is $50 per person and is appropriate for students in eighth grade through adults.

Graham and Meek will teach the technical skills used to audition both on and off the Peninsula.

Topics will include cold reading, character development, audition etiquette and making bold choices.

Both the workshop and the class require registration at www.olympictheatrearts.org/workshops or by calling the box office at 360-683-7326 between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.
