‘Olympic Connect’ to be topic of Studium Generale

PORT ANGELES — Erin Hawkins and Miranda Burger will present “Olympic Connect” at 12:35 p.m. Thursday.

The presentation, part of the Studium Generale speaker series, will be in the library classroom, B-150, on Peninsula College’s Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Hawkins is the community program coodinator for Olympic Community of Health and Burger is the organization’s director of programs.

Other presentations in the weekly lecture series will include “Weaving Together Seven Generations” by Corey Larson and Willie Frank III on May 29, 12th annual Moving Pictures Film Festival on June 5 and an all-day event, “Lifting the Old Ways: Memories of the 1989 Paddle to Seattle and its Legacy,” on June 12.
