Sequim’s Hannah Wagner has been a handful for the Wolves’ opponents all season and thus we have named her this week’s Athlete of the Week in the return on the Swain’s-sponsored honor after an 18-month hiatus.

On Thursday against North Mason, Wagner scored a hat trick, with two of her goals coming on corner kicks from teammate Taryn Johnson. She scored one of her goals on a corner kick header, her second header goal of the season.

Wagner has scored in every game so far this season for the Wolves, tallying a total of seven scores in just five games, more than half of Sequim’s 13 goals on the season. She also has two assists to help lead Sequim to a 3-2 start to their season.
