Tickets on sale for fundraiser at fine art center

PORT ANGELES — Tickets are on sale for An Elevated Evening, an art auction and fundraiser set Sept. 12 in the Esther Webster Gallery and the courtyard at Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Tickets are $40 at www.pafac.org/fundraiser-2025 or $45 at the door.

The event will include a silent art auction, cocktail party and live music with Will Jevne of Sweater Weather String Band.

Drinks will be available for purchase along with light bites catered by The Goat and The Radish and Basecamp. Cocktail attire is encouraged.

The art auction will include pieces by the late Anne Goetzman and several pieces from the center’s collection of Esther Webster’s work.

Additional items will include arts and culture experiences, including overnight stays with Hotel Grand Pacific and Chateau Victoria, tickets to local performances with Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts, Olympic Theatre Arts, Field Arts & Events Hall, the Port Angeles Symphony, the Port Angeles Community Playhouse and Music on the Strait.

Also offered will be tickets for the Museum of Pop Culture, the Burke Museum, the Seattle Theater Group, Butchart Gardens and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, as well as memberships with Bloedel Reserve, The BARN on Bainbridge Island and Seattle’s Cannon Ball Arts Center.

The fundraiser will benefit the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, which operates a donation-based art gallery, maintains Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park and offers year-round programs for all ages.

“Last year through our programs, we engaged nearly 8,000 people in visual arts and humanities activities and supported more than 400 artists of all ages in exhibiting and selling their work through the gallery, gift store, Wintertide Makers Market and park,” said Christine Loewe the center’s executive director. “We additionally welcomed 30,000 visits to the Sculpture Park.

“None of our work is possible without the sustained support of our generous community of donors, grantors, sponsors, volunteers and event attendees. With that, we are excited to offer the second annual Elevated Evening, bringing dedicated art advocates together for an evening in celebration of art and generosity.”
