Port Townsend Main Street to host Sip and Stroll fundraiser

PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson Healthcare and the Port Townsend Main Street Program will sponsor Sip and Stroll in downtown Port Townsend from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

The annual event, formerly known as Girls Night Out, raises funds to support cancer screenings for women in need.

Tickets are $40 per person at www.ptmainstreet.org/event/sip-stroll-at-pt-shop-sip.

Downtown merchants will host Shop and Sip with in-store specials, activities and themed fun from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Back to the ’80s.” Attendees are invited to break out neon, leg warmers and shoulder pads for a chance to win the Best Dressed prize.

Proceeds will benefit the Jefferson Healthcare Foundation’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program, which provides screenings for women who might otherwise go without care.
