Concert to benefit Peninsula College Foundation vocal jazz fund

PORT ANGELES — Jazz singer Greta Matassa will perform with Peninsula College vocal jazz soloists Brandi Larson, Robbin Eaves, Brittney Sophie and Alexis Haman on Thursday.

The concert at Olympic Cellars Winery, 255410 U.S. Highway 101, starts at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are requested.

Proceeds will contribute to the Peninsula College Foundation vocal jazz fund.

Seven times in 15 years, Matassa took Earshot Jazz’s title “Northwest Vocalist of the Year.” She can also boast a lifetime achievement award and presence in the Earshot Jazz Hall of Fame.
