Artists featured on Second Saturday Art Walk

PORT ANGELES — The Second Saturday Art Walk will highlight artists in downtown Port Angeles.

The free, all-ages exhibit at Studio Bob, 118½ E. Front St., is a one-woman show, scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, with music by Tin Sandwich, and from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Jessica Johnson presents “Love, Kindness and Healing.”

“In my art you will find things of all sorts from homegrown herbs, glitter, gems even hidden messages under the paint or on the spines of the canvas,” the artist said of her multi-media pieces.

“Each of my pieces carry a bit of Love, Kindness and Healing, as we ALL deserve.”

The show is dog-friendly.

“Self expression is vital to my life,” Johnson said, adding that “2020 brought an end to the life I had known and I landed in beautiful picturesque Port Angeles.”

At One of A Kind Gallery, 115 E. Railroad Ave., visitors can mingle with the artists from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

The gallery offers white and red wines as well as non-alcoholic cider and small snacks free of charge.

Harbor Arts at 114 N. Laurel St., which is usually on the self-guided tour, is closed until further notice due to a problem with the boiler/heater in the building, organizers said on the gallery’s Facebook page.
