Olympic Medical Center names director of emergency services

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Medical Center has named Trisha Duerr as director of emergency services.

Duerr has worked as an emergency nurse with OMC for nine years, the last two as a supervisor in the emergency department.

Duerr holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Olympic College in Bremerton and a Master of Science degree in nursing education from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City.

She will be responsible for the center’s Level 3 trauma center, which has 20 exam rooms, 62 employees and had more than 29,ooo patient visits last year.
