Neah Bay’s Josiah Greene named 1B player of year in state

NEAH BAY — The hardware continues to roll in for the Neah Bay football team.

Two weeks after the Red Devils won their school’s first state title, three members of the team were named All-State selections by The Associated Press sportswriters.

Headlining the list was sophomore quarterback/defensive back Josiah Greene, who was named Class 1B player of the year as well as a first-team all-purpose player.

Also selected first team All-State from Neah Bay’s eight-man championship squad were senior running back Titus Pascua and senior offensive lineman Rufus Arnold.

The other Peninsula football player to receive first-team All-State recognition: Sequim defensive back/wide receiver/returner Tyler Forshaw.
