Santa Claus, portrayed by Stephen Rosales, greets Paisley Schroeder, 2, and Deb Bemm at a Christmas lunch in Sequim on Monday at the Carroll C. Kendall Unit of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula. The annual lunch is hosted by the Khela family of Sequim which began hosting a community meal on Christmas 10 years ago as a way of giving back to the community. This year 20 turkeys and 10 hams were cooked to feed what’s estimated to be about 400 people. Children were able to choose up to four gifts, donated to the event by community members and the local branch of Toys for Tots. (Peter Segall/Peninsula Daily News)
