NORTH OLYMPIC PENINSULA PREP FOOTBALL: Sequim's rally falls short; other area football results

SEQUIM — A 34-0 halftime deficit was too much for the Sequim Wolves to come back from and beat Bremerton on Friday night.

But just barely.

Sequim battled back and had a chance to take the lead, but a turnover on downs gave the Knights a 41-35 win.

Josiah Anastasi caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Miguel Moroles with 1:05 remaining and then recovered an onside to give Sequim a shot at the win. The Wolves drove inside the Knights’ 20-yard line, but turned the ball over on downs.

Along with his touchdown pass to Anastasi, Moroles ran for three second-half scores, including a 54-yard run, to lead Sequim back.

Adam Knapman also scored for the Wolves.
