AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: Camas Prairie Open to be held this weekend

PORT TOWNSEND — The Camas Prairie Open Championship will be held Saturday and Sunday with awards for gross and net champions, plus prizes from first-place to third-place finishers.

Men will play 18 holes a day and women nine. The tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. both days. Sunday’s pairings will be based on the standings from Saturday. Tee times will be sent by phone and email before Saturday and again Saturday evening for Sunday.

The fee for nonmembers is $100 for men and $60 for women. Annual pass members play for free. The fee includes both days, a small golf rations bag, a 10 percent restaurant discount and a free small bucket of range balls to warm up.

The sign-up sheets for the men’s and women’s divisions are located in the pro shop.
