Voter turnout for Tuesday’s primary election was 32.44 percent in Jefferson County as of Friday, Election Coordinator Betty Johnson said.
Jefferson County voters had returned 7,422 ballots of the 22,876 mailed to registered voters.
Clallam County voters had returned by Friday 11,497 ballots the 47,132 mailed in Tuesday’s primary election, for a voter turnout of 24.39 percent, Auditor Patty Rosand said.
Ballots must be postmarked for the all-mail primary by Tuesday.
