Authors to talk at Northwind in PT on Thursday

PORT TOWNSEND — Donna Miscolta, author of the novel When the de la Cruz Family Danced, and Jennifer D. Munro, writer of humorous stories about sex and motherhood, will get together for a free reading at the Northwind Arts Center, 2409 Jefferson St., on Thursday.

Munro is a freelancer whose writing has appeared in Best American Erotica, among other publications, and who blogs being a mom married to an unconventional man at Straight

NoChaserMom.com.

Miscolta, meanwhile, has had her stories and essays in journals such as Calyx, Conversations Across Borders, New California Writing 2013 and Raven Chronicles.

She has received awards from 4Culture, Artist Trust and the Bread Loaf-Rona Jaffe Foundation, among other organizations.
