Studio Bob to host trashion workshop on Saturday

PORT ANGELES — Christopher Allen will conduct a workshop on trashion from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The free, all-ages workshop is at Studio Bob, 118½ E. Front St. in Port Angeles.

Trashion is jewelry and fashion created from used, thrown-out, found and repurposed elements.

Allen will provide advice and access to tools such as a sewing machine, drill press and glue guns.

There will be a selection of random, salvaged, found and collected items that will be up for grabs; attendees are invited to bring additional materials and projects.

Allen will host additional workshops on April 13 and April 27.

Allen will help artists create works for the Trashion Show, part of the Sequim Irrigation Festival in May.

There will be an encore presentation of the Trashion Show at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 12, at Studio Bob.
