‘Mercy Falls’ continues this week at Key City Public Theatre

Pay-what-you-wish performance slated Thursday

PORT TOWNSEND — The world premiere of the comedy “Mercy Falls” continues this week — with a pay-what-you-wish performance Thursday — at Key City Public Theatre, 419 Washington St.

In this play by Indie Theater Hall of Fame writer Jeni Mahoney, a single woman named Marcy (Consuelo Aduviso Brennan) overcomes her fear of hospitals to visit inspirational author Wanda Moore (Michelle Hensel).

Since it’s Christmas Eve, a series of mythical and medical characters show up, and unexpected things happen.

The cast also includes Tomoki Sage, Maggie Jo Bulkley and Jennifer True.

“Mercy Falls” showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday, with tickets at keycitypublictheatre.org and 360-385-5278. Walk-up sales also are available at the theater half an hour before curtain time.
