Christmas Cottage, other holiday bazaars offered this weekend

PORT ANGELES — The Original Christmas Cottage, a tradition in Port Angeles for some 37 years, will begin at 9 a.m. today.

The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St.

Featured will be handcrafted items ranging from ornaments and wreaths to stocking stuffers made by local artists

Attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras for Santa photo opportunities from noon to 3 p.m. today, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Donations to the Captain Joseph House Foundation are accepted.

Christmas Cottage is a group of crafters and artists who host The Original Christmas Cottage Craft Show each November at the Vern Burton Community Center.

Fall bazaar

PORT ANGELES — Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will host a fall bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The free bazaar will take place at 301 Lopez Ave.

Handcrafted gifts, fair trade items, homemade soups and baked goods will be sold.

A lefse-making demonstration also is planned.

Christmas bazaar

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Eagles Auxiliary No. 483 will host a Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

A lunch will be available at the bazaar at 2843 E. Myrtle St.

Baked goods, handcrafted items, crocheted items, jewelry, woodwork and birdhouses will be for sale.

SEQUIM

Autumn bazaar

SEQUIM — St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church’s autumn bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and Saturday.

Attendees can partake in coffee and a dessert while perusing homemade crafts and baked goods at the church, 121 E. Maple St.

A silent auction and boutique basket raffles also are planned.

Christmas lane fair

SEQUIM — Members of the public are invited to Trinity United Methodist Church’s 12th annual Christmas lane fair at 9 a.m. Saturday.

More than 40 local crafters will be featured at the church, 100 S. Blake Ave., until 3 p.m.

Chili, soup and pie will be available at the church’s Holly Daze Cafe.

St. Luke’s fair

SEQUIM — The St. Luke’s Episcopal Church’s Holiday Bazaar will celebrate its 61st anniversary from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Handmade items such as heirloom crafts, quilts ornaments and plants will be for sale at the church, 525 N. Fifth Ave.

A bazaar luncheon featuring pulled pork sandwiches, slaw, barbecue beans, a cheesecake dessert and beverages will be available from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

GARDINER

Holiday bazaar

GARDINER — The Gardiner Holiday Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The free event will be at 980 Old Gardiner Road.

Eighteen local crafters will have handmade gifts for sale.

Santa also will be present for photos from 9 a.m. to noon.

Sales from the lunch will benefit the local food bank, according to a news release.

QUILCENE

Country Christmas

QUILCENE — The Picket Fence & Friends’ Country Christmas will begin with an open house beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The open house will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 18, at 22 Washington St.

A vendor market will also be available Nov. 18 during that time.
