DISCOVERY BAY— A Port Townsend woman was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence after she drove her sport utility vehicle into a ditch Wednesday morning.
Cassandra Rae Aldrich, 52, was in the Jefferson County jail, held without bail, Wednesday afternoon.
Aldrich drove her 2001 Nissan Xterra into a ditch on state Highway 20 about a half-mile north of U.S. Highway 101, said Trooper Russell Winger, State Patrol spokesman.
Troopers arrested Aldrich at about 10 a.m., Winger said.
The vehicle was towed away and the road cleared at 10:43 a.m., he said.
