PORT TOWNSEND — The 23rd annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair, presented by the Port Townsend Arts Guild, is set for today and Saturday.
The fair will be held at the Port Townsend Community Center, 620 Tyler St., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
The fair will occupy both floors at the center, with student musicians performing downstairs.
Featured will be handwoven items, gold and silver jewelry set with semiprecious gems, leather belts, photography, sculptural jewelry, copper wall sculptures, etched glass art, stoneware and porcelain pottery.
Also, enameled art jewelry, a variety of woodwork, dolls, silk scarves, hand-knit items, fleece clothing, purses, skirts, watercolors, lamp-worked beads, nuno felting, vintage-style aprons, mosaic and fused-glass sculptural work, painted floor cloths and carved wood.

Proceeds from the show support the Port Townsend Arts Guild, a self-supporting nonprofit arts guild offering arts scholarships to Jefferson County students majoring in the arts.
The artists donate a portion of each sale to the Jefferson County Food Bank, as they have done for the past 22 years.
“The Quilt,” a 30-inch-by-40-inch paper collage on canvas by Else Young of Port Townsend, will be sold by silent auction at the event.
All proceeds will be donated to the Port Townsend Food Bank.
