SEQUIM — Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna will address the Sequim Sunrise Rotary Club on Friday.
He will speak at the SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, just north of Sequim.
The Rotary Club meets for breakfast at 7 a.m., and McKenna will speak at about 7:30.
Rotarian and real estate broker Mike McAleer invited McKenna, a Republican running for re-election this fall, to Sequim.
The two men met in January at a Washington Realtors meeting with legislators in Olympia, said McAleer, who is treasurer of the state Realtors group’s political action committee.
McAleer said he expects McKenna to talk about the statewide shortage of judges and the resulting delays in trials, which cost taxpayers while cities and counties hold defendants in jail.
McKenna also may discuss his November general election race with Democratic challenger, Pierce County Executive John Ladenburg.
