SEQUIM — Partners in the Dungeness River Management Team worked on 25 projects during 2001, according to the group’s annual report released this week.
The group is a partnership of individuals and property owners in the Dungeness River watershed, the lifeblood of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley.
“These projects — which range from water conservation to the opening of the Dungeness River Audubon Center at Railroad Bridge Park — are a testament of not only the natural diversity of the Dungeness watershed, but of the diversity of interests that work together to restore this river,” said Clallam County Commissioner Steve Tharinger, D-Sequim, who is team chairman.
