PORT ANGELES’ CONCERT on the Pier hosts its last band of the summer on Wednesday.
Performing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. will be the Ian McFeron band (folk-pop-blues-rock).
Based in Seattle, McFeron performs an average of 200 shows a year spread throughout the United States and Europe. More info: www.ianmcferon.com.
Held on City Pier and sponsored by the Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce and local businesses, Concert on Pier’s every-Wednesday performances began this summer on June 18.
Dancing is encouraged, and some chairs are available for the disabled and early arrivals. There are two snack and beverage vendors.
City Pier is a dog-friendly, no-smoking, no-skateboards, no-alcohol venue. The concert will be moved two blocks to the roofed Gateway transit center, Lincoln and Front streets, if there’s rain.
“Bubble Man” Greg Bondy provides entertainment for kids at Concert on the Pier with chalk for pavement drawing and a bubble-making machine.
Two other weekly outdoor concerts on the North Olympic Peninsula — Sequim’s Music in the Park on Tuesdays and Port Townsend’s Concerts on the Dock on Thursdays — ended their summer runs last week.
