PORT ANGELES —
The Port Angeles Recreation Department is hosting the April Fools’ Extravaganza basketball tournament this weekend.
There will be 21 boys teams participating in four divisions — 5th grade, 7th grade, junior varsity and varsity.
Port Angeles has at least one entry in each division and will face teams from Clallam Bay, Port Townsend, Auburn, Bremerton, Eatonville, Federal Way, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, Shelton, Seattle abd Tacoma.
Play begins Saturday at 10 a.m. at Port Angeles High School and Peninsula College.
Sunday’s play starts at 9 a.m., with championship games slated for Sunday afternoon.
The games are open to the public for a slight admission charge.
