SEQUIM — Sunday’s 2 p.m. performance of “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” the musical comedy at Olympic Theatre Arts, has been called off due to the Super Bowl.
“Turns out football is more popular than theater. Go figure,” quipped Carol Willis, OTA’s manager.
Another show has been added, though: at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12.
The play, starring Leona Voss, Sheenieka Dolan, James Willis and Joel Yelland, also takes the stage at OTA at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays tonight through Feb. 14. Sunday matinees will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 8 and 15.
Tickets range from $16 to $22 except for the pay-what-you-can show at 7:30 p.m. next Thursday.

Dad-daughter dance slated next week
SEQUIM — The Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir St., will host its fourth Daddy-Daughter Dance at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7.
Tickets are $15 per adult, with admission for girls 5 and older free.
The dinner, beginning at 6:30 p.m., is $5 for adults and $4 for children. A commemorative photo is $5, sundaes are $3 and raffle tickets are $1.

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Climate Action will hold its second annual membership event at the Elwha Heritage Center, 401 E. First St., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8.

2 pool volunteers
PORT ANGELES — The William Shore Memorial Pool District has opportunities for residents to participate in an advisory capacity.
Opportunities are available to residents living in the Port Angeles School District boundaries.
There are two open positions on the advisory committee that are appointed for a two-year term.
The committee was formed to support and advise the William Shore Memorial Pool District board on the maintenance and operation of the pool.
The committee is made up of seven community leaders throughout the district who believe in the health, safety, recreation and competition benefits of the year-round public aquatic facilities and programs for children and adults, according to a news release.

Women in farming
SEQUIM — Women and men can register for the fourth annual Women in Agriculture Conference on Feb. 21.
Locally, a conference will be held in the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe Red Cedar Room, 1033 Old Blyn Highway.
The event offers women in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska an opportunity to gather in 28 locations for a one-day event featuring speakers, stories, advice for improving farm management skills and networking with other women producers.
The registration fee is $30, but there is a $25 early bird special till Feb. 13.
Registration includes a light breakfast, lunch, handouts and tools.
