PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles Senior Nutrition Site dinners will be served at 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at the Port Angeles Senior & Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St.
A suggested donation is $5 for those who are 60 or older.
People younger than 60 can attend for $8.

Menus are subject to change.
■ Tuesday: Tossed salad, chicken friend steak, mashed potatoes, country gravy, peas-n-carrots and brownies.
■ Wednesday: Pea salad, chicken-rice bake, broccoli, dinner roll and peaches.
■ Thursday: Fruit cup, cheeseburger with fixings, potato fries and apple pie.
■ Friday: To be determined.
Chain gang busy
PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office Chain Gang removed 480 pounds of refuse during the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4 from 25.4 miles of county roadways.
Roads cleared were Calawha Way, Bogachiel Way and Undi, Cooper Ranch, Mary Clark, Shuwah, Iverson, Whitcomb-Dimmel, Maxfield and Steelhead roads.
A total of 247 drug needles were found.
In addition, crews assembled 16 office chairs, with the old taken to the Forks dump, and removed TV and railroad ties from the Forks Detachment Office.
Crews brushed and chipped Deer Park, Gossett and Peters roads, plus South Bayview Avenue.
They removed Scotch broom at the Forks County Shop.
Crews removed a fallen tree over the pond behind the ranger house at the Snider Work Camp.
Fallen trees were cleared from the roadway on Forest Service Road 30 from Highway 101 to Highway 112.
The horse hitching posts at Cooper Ranch Olympic Discover Trail trailhead were adjusted to approximately 46 inches.
Piano recital
PORT ANGELES — Piano students from the studio of Joan Quigley recently presented a Christmas recital at First Presbyterian Church.
Those preparing music were Ben and Jack Clemens, McHenry Miller, Mason Mai, Teig Carlson, Willimm Herzberg, Kayla Grant, Miriam Cobb, Michaela Irvin, Robert Kennedy, Jayvyn Greif, Austin Deng Huang, Ruby Knoth, Julianna Quarto, Brody and Coen Cronk, Imogen Fraser, Emily Landers, Carson Mordecai-Smith, Winston and Miles Wait, Joe Hill and Allie Winters.
Special guest performers were Evan Cobb, cello, and Katie Cobb, violin.
Honor roll students
CORVALLIS, Ore. — Names of Peninsula students who have made the scholastic honor roll for the fall term have been announced by Oregon State University.
A total of 1,009 students earned straight-As (4.0).
Another 3,982 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing.
To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.
Clallam County students on the B-plus honor roll are Tarah L. Erickson, senior, Port Angeles, environmental engineering; and Katherine G. Landoni, freshman, Sequim, earth sciences.
