Call for art entries

SEQUIM — Applications are being accepted by the City Arts Advisory Commission (CAAC) for an art exhibit to be displayed in the new Sequim Civic Center.

The theme of the exhibit is “What Sequim Means to Me.”

The deadline for submissions is March 1.

The art will be on display in the first-floor public area from the grand opening of the civic center in midyear until the end of the calendar year.

All pieces must be able to hang on a wall.

The art will be juried by the CAAC, and selections will be made on how the art reflects the history and the artistic, cultural and natural diversity of the Sequim community.

For complete details on how to submit artwork for the exhibit, visit www.sequimwa.gov or contact City Clerk Karen Kuznek-Reese at 360-681-3428 or kkuznek@sequimwa.gov.
