QUILCENE — Passers-by came to the aid of two Oregon men injured in a single-car rollover wreck on U.S. Highway 101 about 7 miles south of Quilcene.
A 2009 Chevrolet Aveo driven by Patrick J. Delaney, 64, of Hermiston, Ore., lost traction as it traveled south on Highway 101 at 7:54 a.m. Friday, the State Patrol said.
Veered into embankment
The car veered off the highway to the right, struck an embankment, then rolled, troopers said.
The State Patrol said passers-by righted the car before troopers arrived.
Delaney and his passenger, Gerald C. Kortman, 72, also of Hermiston, were listed in stable condition Saturday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where they were airlifted after the wreck.
The State Patrol cited Delaney for driving too fast for conditions.
No alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident, investigators said.
