■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at Blakeslee’s Bar & Grill, 1222 S. Forks Ave.
This Wednesday’s gathering will feature Molly Erickson, public service manager, and David Hammer, district recreation specialist for the Forest Service.
Lunch of $9.75 will include an entree (enchiladas) and sides. The soup of the day will be clam chowder.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
This Monday’s program will feature Ella Ashford, president of the 4-H STEM Club, on the benefits of competitive Sports of the Mind programs and the 4-H Maker Space being piloted in the community.
The luncheon’s sponsor will be Hope Roofing.
Lunch by Subway costs $8.
■ North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce — Representing the “Emerald Towns” of the Hood Canal, Quilcene and Brinnon, the chamber meets monthly on the third Monday of the month.
The group will meet this Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Brinnon Community Center, 306144 U.S. Highway 101 in Brinnon, to hear Kevin Hoult, MBA and a Certified Business Adviser from the Washington Small Business Development Center, present a program for owners and managers of for-profit businesses and managers of nonprofit organizations.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings with networking and educational programs are held Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive (off U.S. Highway 101) in east Port Angeles.
This coming Tuesday’s meeting is PABA’s monthly “open business” discussion program examining local issues affected investment, employment and economic growth.
The program will include a presentation by Clallam County District 3 Commissioner Bill Peach, a member of the six-member state Board of Natural Resources, on the board’s focus on timber arrearage,
sustained yield and protections for the marbled murrelet seabird.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those at the PABA meeting who do not order breakfast.
