THE NEW YORK TIMES is covering the 87th Academy Awards live, with reports and photos from the red carpet, fashion reviews, commentary during the telecast and more.

The awards ceremony, which will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and broadcast on ABC, begins at 5:30 p.m. Pacific time (on KOMO-TV, channel 4).
