BUSINESS BRIEFS: New physical therapist hired at Sequim clinic . . . and other items

SEQUIM — Physical therapist Errin Chappel recently joined Olympic Medical Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Sequim.

Chappel specializes in functional movement analysis and sports medicine.

She also practices neurokinetic therapy, which is used to correct faulty or dysfunctional patterns in body mechanics.

“Errin utilizes her expertise to help patients lessen their fall risk, improve safety in daily movement or return to sports or activity,” said Gloria Andrus, operations manager at Olympic Medical Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.

Energy lunch set

PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson County Energy Lunch program for this month, Local Energy Project Development & Financing, will take place at the Port Townsend Yacht Club, 2503 Washington St., at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Doors open at noon.

The speaker is Kevin Maas, owner of Glacier Energy Inc., a Mount Vernon-based energy development company.

Maas has implemented energy projects in Skagit, King, Whatcom and Tillamook (Ore.) counties.

Projects include five cow-powered biodigesters and five public/private community solar projects.

In his presentation, Maas will provide an overview of the energy development process, including determining the economic viability of a project, developing performance projections, structuring the organization and arranging funding.

Admission is free and open to all.

Attendees are welcome to arrive early to network with other local alternative-energy advocates and professionals.

Restaurant adds on

PORT ANGELES — Kokopelli Grill, 203 E. Front St., will open its new Waterview Lounge this Wednesday.

The lounge offers sweeping views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Offering Northwest cuisine with a Southwest flair, the grill is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, plus 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays for dinner only.
