BUSINESS BRIEFS: Insulin pump clinic is set for Monday in Port Angeles . . . and other items

PORT ANGELES — Jim’s Pharmacy will sponsor a free clinic on insulin pump therapy at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

Insulin pumps are small computerized devices that deliver insulin continuously throughout the day in an attempt to mimic the pancreas’ release of insulin, according to a news release.

Users push buttons instead of giving themselves multiple shots.

Snacks will be provided.

For more information, phone 360-452-4200.
