Annual Soroptimist Gala Gift Show benefits scholarships

PORT ANGELES — Volunteer Viola Ware, left, and Soroptimist member Ann Salmon look over a table filled with confections for sale during Saturday’s annual Gala Gift Show at the Sequim unit of the Boys & Girls Club of the Olympic Peninsula.

Dozens of exhibitors offered a wide variety of crafts and gifts while members of Soroptimist International of Sequim hosted a bake sale.

Proceeds from the event were slated to help fund scholarships and Soroptimist service programs.
