PORT ANGELES — The City Council will be asked tonight to approve a plan to offer sailing tours of the harbor this summer, with a 45-foot sailing boat picking up passengers at City Pier.
Seventh Wave Yacht Charters wants to give people a closer look at the harbor and surrounding area, starting in June and lasting until October.
Capt. Michael Swirski wants to offer four tours a day, with each cruise lasting a minimum of two hours.
He is also considering “bed and breakfast”‘ overnight cruises to John Wayne Marina in Sequim and to Victoria.
Swirski also owns the @Play Internet Cafe at 133 E. First St. in downtown Port Angeles.
He now conducts some chartered cruises out of Port Angeles Boat Haven.
