PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson County Democrats will host the 20th annual Fish Feast at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The feast will be at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, 4907 Landes St.
Tickets are $45, or $15 for those 12 to 18 years old. Children younger than 12 will be admitted free.
Speakers will be U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer, a Democrat from Gig Harbor who represents the 6th Congressional District — which includes the North Olympic Peninsula — and state party chairman Jaxon Ravens.
Local Democratic candidates in the Nov. 4 general election are expected to be present.
Grilled sockeye salmon and oysters will be served along with locally farmed greens and veggies, dessert and beverages.
This year, $1 of the ticket price will be donated to the Jefferson County Fair Association.

Book talk set Wednesday
PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Literary Society will hold a discussion at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The talk is free and open to the public.
No reservations are needed.
This month, the society will discuss Hearts of Horses by Molly Gloss.
Discussions take place the last Wednesday of each month, except Dec. 17.
