PORT ANGELES — Massage practitioners are welcome to attend “Working with Fascia” with Marilyn Beech at First Presbyterian Church, 139 W. Eighth St., from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Participants can earn two continuing education units at this session.
Massage practitioner and structural integration specialist Beech will explain the difference between working with muscles and fascia, or connective tissue, for structural change, according to a news release.
Attendees can learn how fascial work with heel, hamstrings and the back can help support the pelvis.
Participants should wear loose shorts and shirts.
A $5 donation covers the cost of the workshop.
Massage tables are needed.
