OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — Lake Crescent Lodge plans its inaugural “Lighting the Lodge” on Saturday.
The celebration from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. is free and open to the public.
Attendees are asked to bring a donation of a new toy or non-perishable food items.
The historic lodge in Olympic National Park is located at 416 Lake Crescent Road, 22 miles west of Port Angeles.
Built in 1916, the lodge is the centerpiece for cabins and cottages, which are all listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
No reservations are necessary for the lighting event, but anyone wishing to stay for dinner or overnight should phone 360-928-3211.
