PORT ANGELES — Tickets were still available Tuesday for the third annual Meowgaritas and Mutts Dinner and Auction on Saturday.
The benefit for the nonprofit Olympic Peninsula Humane Society will be at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St.
Seats are $50 per person and $400 for a table of eight.
The event will feature a Mexican dinner along with silent and live auctions.
Cocktails and the silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner following at 6:30 p.m.

Live auction items include trips to Maui, Las Vegas and Florida as well as four tickets to a Seattle Seahawks game. The tickets are near the 30-yard line.
Over its past two years, the annual fundraiser has raised nearly $120,000.
Proceeds will go to the Humane Society’s building fund.
It is building a new dog kennel facility on Old Olympic Highway between Port Angeles and Sequim.
The three modular buildings now on the property will house cats, administration and veterinary services; however, a dog kennel facility must be built before the organization can move to the new location.
Hoch Construction is the general contractor on the project, which is expected to be completed by the end of the summer or early fall.
