BRINNON — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a third person in a burglary in which about $12,000 in property was stolen from a residence.
On Friday, deputies arrested David Michael Love of Brinnon at a relative’s house in Quilcene for investigation of residential burglary, theft, possession of stolen property, stolen property trafficking and malicious mischief.
Discovered Jan. 10
Love, 53, is a suspect in a burglary in the 1200 block of Dosewallips Road that was discovered Jan. 10 when the property owners returned home after several days.
Love was in the Jefferson County jail Saturday along with his alleged partner, Trever J. Crowell, 32, of Brinnon who was arrested Jan. 25 after turning himself in.
He is being investigated for burglary and theft charges along with possession of drug paraphernalia and more than 40 grams of marijuana.
Search warrant
According to Sheriff’s Detective Ryan Menday, deputies executed a search warrant on a property near the 1000 block of Duckabush Road on Jan. 28, recovering items such as power tools and a riding lawn mower that matched the description of the property stolen earlier.
Also recovered was a wood stove matching the description of one stolen from a nearby home in 2014.
The property has been returned to its owners, Menday said.
Crowell made a court appearance Wednesday during which a $50,000 bond was set.
During a subsequent appearance Friday, his trial date was set for March 30-31, with pretrial hearings Feb. 20, March 6 and March 20.
Another suspect, Michelle Kenning, 51, is still at large, Menday said.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Menday at 360-385-3831, ext. 773, or Deputy Shane Stevenson at ext. 629.
