PORT TOWNSEND — Port Townsend poets Kathryn Hunt, who recently toured the West with her new collection Long Way through Ruin, and Gayle Kaune, whose books include All the Birds Awake, will give a free reading at Northwind Arts Center this Thursday.
In the 7 p.m. reading, Hunt will offer poems such as “The Newborns,” recently highlighted on Garrison Keillor’s national public radio program “The Writer’s Almanac.”
Kaune, for her part, will read poems from a body of work that includes her Flume Press award-winning chapbook Concentric Circles, and Still Life in the Physical World on Blue Begonia Press.
