DISCOVERY BAY – A Port Hadlock woman is under investigation for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after a single-vehicle, rollover crash on state Highway 20 near Eaglemount, the State Patrol said.
Crystal R. Forest, 37, was traveling east at milepost 2 at 1:52 p.m. Thursday when her 2007 black Audi Q7 left the roadway, overturned and came to rest right side up in the eastbound lane, according to a memo from the State Patrol. Forest was the vehicle’s only occupant.
Forest, who sustained minor injuries, was transported to Jefferson Healthcare, where she was treated and discharged later that evening, Trooper Chelsea Hodgson said in an email.
The crash blocked both lanes until about 3 p.m. when the westbound lane was reopened. After the vehicle was towed, the eastbound lane reopened to traffic at about 3:30 p.m.
Units from Discovery Bay Fire & Rescue and Quilcene Fire Rescue responded to the crash.
