PORT ANGELES — The city will knock out power in part of the waterfront area Sunday, Feb. 8, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to install new lines.
The affected area will be between Third Street and Marine Drive from Tumwater Truck Route at the east to East Boat Haven at the west.
George Drake, light operations manager, said all customers who will be without power have been notified.
Some streets will be closed or restricted because of new wire over the roadway.
Tumwater Street will be closed to through traffic from A Street to Marine Drive.
Flaggers will control traffic on Marine Drive and Tumwater Truck Route, which is also state Highway 117.
