The Jefferson County Conservation Futures Committee will hold a special all-day meeting Friday.
Attendees and participants will meet at the Chimacum Corner Farmstand, 22 Rhody Drive, at 9 a.m. to form carpools.
Over the course of the day, the committee will tour the Lower Big Quilcene River riparian protection project, Midori Farms, Bishop Dairy and other areas.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend Land Use Work Group for the comprehensive plan will provide an update and define a scope of work Friday.
The group will meet from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the third-floor conference room of City Hall, 250 Madison St.
Optional amendments will be discussed. Public comment will be taken at 3:30 p.m.
The Port Townsend City Council does not meet this week.
Council office hours, during which members of the public can discuss any topic with a member of the City Council, take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the mayor’s office at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.

The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners does not meet this week.
