PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College English professor Jim Fisher will discuss and share four of his recently published books at Peninsula College’s Studium Generale program Thursday.
The program begins at 12:35 p.m. in the college’s Little Theater (J-16) at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Fisher will talk about how he got the books published and will be joined by friends who will read selections from three of them.
A question-and-answer period will follow.
Fisher’s four books are The Adventures of J.R. Engels in the Great Pacific Northwest; Granny May Have Been a Vampire; Happy Valley, USA; and Genesis of Love.
Fisher worked for 25 years for Procter & Gamble in Long Beach, Calif., but elected to leave the company when the Long Beach plant was closed.
He started teaching for Peninsula College in 1994.
