BUSINESS BRIEFS: Port Townsend marine supply store has new owners . . . and other items

PORT TOWNSEND — Robert and Anna Frank are the new owners of Admiral Ship Supply, located at 305 10th St.

The business is a marine hardware store and offers a large selection of marine paint, fasteners, abrasives, zinc anodes, epoxies and resins, according to a news release.

Admiral was founded in 1993, and the Franks took the helm Feb. 2.

Robert Frank, a former employee 12 years ago, is taking over from Dave Carruthers, who previously owned the store.

John Carruthers and David White will continue to serve Admiral’s customers and are joined by new employee Libby Schnick, the store’s new bookkeeper.

Mobilisa down

PORT TOWNSEND — Intellicheck Mobilisa showed a slight revenue decline in the fourth quarter of last year as well as the whole year, according to its annual report Tuesday.

The Port Townsend-based ID verification and wireless technology company said revenue for the quarter ending Dec. 31 was $1.1 million, compared with $1.4 million in the same period of 2013.

For all of 2014, revenue was $6.6 million, compared with $7.3 million in the previous year.
