Sequim Lavender Growers Association seeks art for 2019 festival

SEQUIM — Members of the Sequim Lavender Growers Association — founders and producers of the Sequim Lavender Festival — are seeking lavender-themed art for the official 2019 Sequim Lavender Festival poster art, T-shirts, advertising and all festival-related items.

The medium can be any form that is able to be photographed and used on all festival related items.

No more than three entries per artist are accepted.

All work must be original and created solely by the artist and must be family-appropriate, association members say.

The artist selected will be paid for their artwork for the right to use on all festival-related items and be given a 10-foot by 10-foot booth space at the 2019 Sequim Lavender Festival Street Fair in Carrie Blake Community Park, where they can display and sell their artwork.

Submissions must be presented for consideration by Dec. 29 via email, info@lavenderfestival.com, or by standard mail to: SLGA, P.O. Box 3844, Sequim, WA 98382.

Items submitted for consideration will be juried by the members of the Sequim Lavender Growers Association in January 2019 and a contract and notification will be sent to the artist by Feb. 1.

Email to info@lavender festival.com for a submission form.
