CHIMACUM — Atsuko Gibson will address a meeting of the Olympic Peninsula Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society at 3 p.m. Thursday.
The chapter will meet in the back room at the Tri-Area Community Center, 10 West Valley Road.
Gibson has a Bachelor of Science in ornamental horticulture from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark.
She is the assistant curator of the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden in Federal Way.
The public is invited to the free meeting, and refreshments will be served.
