BMX: 14 Lincoln Park BMX riders win Gold Cup plates

This past weekend the Northwest Gold Cup finals were held in Richland. Lincoln Park BMX in Port Angeles had 14 riders earn 17 Gold Cup plates. The Northwest region includes Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and British Columbia.

Cup winners included:

Bradan Gray, Port Angeles, Gold Cup No. 2 in 10 cruiser and in 10 expert.

Trinity Gaither, Sequim, Gold Cup No. 2 in 17-20 women’s cruiser and 17-20 women’s expert.

Thomas Schreoeder, Port Angeles, Gold Cup No. 1 in 13 intermediate.

Carmelo Kompkoff, Port Angeles, Gold Cup No. 1 in 6 novice.

Caleb Underwood, Port Angeles, Gold Cup No. 2 in 15 intermediate.

Toby Kreider, Port Angeles, Gold Cup No. 3 in 15 intermediate.

Jackson Beal, Port Townsend, Gold Cup No. 2 in 16 cruiser.

Gabe Granum, Sequim, Gold Cup No. 1 in 17-20 intermediate.

Ryker Rossi, Sequim, Gold Cup No. 2, 13 novice.

Ryan Albin, Port Angeles, Gold Cup No. 1 in 16 intermediate.

Teyah Elofson-Cross, Port Angeles, Gold Cup No. 1 9-10 girls cruiser and Gold Cup No. 2 in 10 girls expert.

Thomas Penn, Forks, Gold Cup No. 1, 12 novice.

Keira Keller, Port Angeles, Gold Cup No. 3 in 14 novice.

Anthony Hulse, Tacoma, Gold Cup No. 1 in 26-35 expert.

The Lincoln Park BMX track is hosting the state USA BMX finals Sept. 22-24.
