AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: Sequim baseball team to hold youth clinic

SEQUIM — The Sequim High School baseball team willhost a youth clinic for all players from third to eighth grades Saturday.

The high school players will provide instruction on hitting, fielding and throwing techniques to prepare for the upcoming baseball season.

The clinic at the Sequim High School varsity baseball field will be from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $25 per player. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. the day of the clinic. Parents are welcome to stay and watch, or players can be dropped off and picked up. All players will receive a Sequim baseball hat as well as snacks and water.
