PORT ANGELES — A woman was flown to a Seattle hospital after the car she was driving left the road and rolled over in a ditch.
Sally Jung, 73, of Port Angeles was traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 101 at Bagley Creek Road in a 2008 Ford Mustang about 8:37 p.m. Saturday when she lost control and left the roadway to the right, the State Patrol said.
The vehicle struck the eastbound ditch, rolled over and came to rest on its wheels facing westbound in the eastbound ditch, the State Patrol said.
Jung was flown to Harborview Medical Center, where she was in satisfactory condition on Monday, hospital spokesperson Susan Gregg said.
Drugs or alcohol were involved, and speed also was a factor, the State Patrol said.
Jung was not wearing a seat belt, the agency added.
The vehicle was totally destroyed and towed from the scene.
